Love Story
Ari and Jenny met at their church summer camp when they were in high school. Ari claims he knew Jenny was the girl he was going to marry since then, but Jenny needed a little more convincing. With Ari living in Los Angeles and Jenny living in the Bay Area, they kept in touch online, but otherwise only saw each other twice a year at camp. In 2014, they finally started a long-distance dating relationship, and thankfully Ari was able to move to the Bay Area shortly after.
Proposal Story
With Thanksgiving approaching, Ari suggested one final date before flying back to Los Angeles for a week. They drove to The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay for lunch and a stroll, when Jenny noticed a guitar just sitting on the lawn. Ari picked up the guitar, sang her a song, and proposed in front of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Jenny’s best friends then jumped out after stealthily capturing pictures of the entire proposal. And the best part — Ari’s flight was fake and they drove down to LA together for their first family Thanksgiving!
