Love Story:
From vibrant, larger-than-life florals to the magical storybook private estate, Lindsey & Joe’s wedding was a real life fairytale. The genuine love they share filled the air and was the true force behind the magic of their day. Best of all, their 3 Dachshunds were included in the ceremony, dressed to the nines. The jaw dropping decor was out of the bride’s wildest dreams, it was so special for her to have a wedding like those couples she had been helping for so many years. Guests were treated to authentic Lebanese cuisine, a s’mores station and beautiful homemade pies by the groom’s aunt. Sycamore trees dripping in twinkle lights created a whimsical setting perfect for dancing the night away. This summer wedding was happiness personified, making it a true reflection of the bride & groom. – Heather of LVL Weddings & Events

From the Bride:
I have been in the wedding industry for over 12 years, I own a wedding cake bakery called A Wish and a Whisk and have dedicated so much of my life passion to making peoples dreams come true in cake form. I have had the honor of working on some absolutely incredible weddings in my career and built so many amazing friendships with my fellow vendors as we have worked together side by side to make brides dreams a reality. So now that it was my turn I was so overwhelmed with excitement and didn’t even know where to begin! I barely announced my engagement, and my friends were all offering/insisting on helping me with our wedding! My amazing friend Heather from LVL weddings, she has been my next door neighbor at the bakery and friend for years, before I was even engaged made it very clear that she was going to plan my wedding no question! So when I got engaged she was literally one of the very first people I called, I knew she was waiting. I am so thankful for the incredible friend I have in Heather, she went beyond the call of friendship and planning to make our wedding perfect. My incredibly talented friend Larrissa, from Inviting Occasion, squealed and cried with me when I told her I was engaged, and I wanted her to create my dream wedding with her florals and event design. She has a heart like no other and talent that flows from her heart, she gives her all to every event she works on and the gift she gave to me with her talent and friendship I will never be able to fully repay her for. And last but not least, to complete my dream team we had the best photographer on the planet. I’m so thankful for the amazing talent of my friend Joel at Studio Emp who blessed us with his photos for our wedding. He captured the day and our love so perfect, I still cry when I look at the photos. During our entire wedding, Joel brought so much fun to the day by cracking jokes, barking at the dogs while taking photos, and most of all by being our friend and getting emotional with us throughout the day, so many moments I’ll never forget and can re-live everyday with his incredibly gorgeous pictures. I’m still so emotional thinking about the amount of love and friendship my friends poured into us.

Our wedding day was nothing short of a magical fairytale. I didn’t completely know what the wedding was going to look like, I had an idea but I really let my planner Heather and my floral and event designer Larrissa take the lead and create the space and the day. When I was getting ready that day, Heather came to me and told me I had to see pictures of what was going on with the set up because it was so gorgeous she was worried I would loose my mind in excitement and not even see Joe as I walked down the aisle! I literally was screaming and jumping up and down looking at the pictures on her phone, I couldn’t believe this was MY wedding! It was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen! Larissa built the most incredible ceremony space with a floral arch filled with peonies as large as dinner plates, I’ve never seen such incredible flowers! Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing the man that I love more then life itself standing waiting for me with our brothers and sisters on either side of him and our wiener dogs all dressed up, all surrounded in this gorgeous space created with so much love by my dearest and insanely talented friends was so overwhelming! Our ceremony was my favorite part of the whole day, Joe and I wrote our own vows and that was really special to us. His vows were the sweetest and most romantic thing I have ever heard, people still mention his vows to me because they were so pure and from his heart. It was so special to stand in my wedding dress in front of all our family and friends and hear my husband share all the the feelings right from his heart on our wedding day. There was so much love filling that day, love for each other and so much love poured into our wedding from my vendor friends who created the day, the feeling of love was tangible to all who came that day.
