Love Story:
Melissa and Sevan dated for seven years before Sevan proposed to Melissa in Central Park. Sevan knew that Melissa had always dreamed of visiting New York, and specifically enjoying a cup of coffee in Central Park, so Sevan incorporated all those details into his proposal. He told Melissa they were going on a trip to Tahoe, but then surprised her by taking her to the San Francisco airport and then told her about their New York adventure. Sevan made Melissa’s dream come true as he proposed on a bridge in Central Park, complete with Melissa holding her cup of coffee.

Love Note:
Melissa and Sevan’s favorite part of their wedding was the grand entrance into the reception. They were introduced from the top floor of the Bently Reserve, and it felt like a fairy tale for the couple.

Love Story:
Jackie and Harry were neighbors that lived across the street from each other for 5 years before a fateful night when Jackie left her car lights on and Harry rushed over to let her know, brought them together. Jackie returned the kind gesture with some concert tickets and soon after they found themselves inseparable. Harry proposed underwater when the adventurous couple was scuba diving on vacation in Maui.

Love Note:
They decided on a destination wedding after having a blast attending a friends, and Hawaii being a special place for the two of them, the location was a no brainer. They decided the St. Regis Princeville on Kauai could provide the perfect back drop to their slightly eclectic, intimate celebration. The bride decided to have a more personal gathering with a guest list of only 14 to be able to spoil her loved ones with a magical day and really enjoy each others company on this special occasion. With the bride being a florist, there were high standards for the décor at this luxurious bohemian wedding, so she hired wedding planners & designers Moana Events to pull her vision together. The ceremony took place oceanfront under a tree draped in a tropical garland of flowers including brightly colored protea, bougainvillea, peonies, dahlias, roses, and hydrangea. The aisle was created with ombré petals matching the colors of the floral arrangements and laid out like a sunset leading them to the altar.

Love Story:
Emily and Jim were longtime friends turned high school sweethearts. They don’t quite remember first meeting each other, but it was likely in the fifth grade. It wasn’t until they sat next to each other in Spanish class during their sophomore year of high school that they started to hang out more though. Jim kept getting them in trouble in class for making Emily laugh, but they didn’t start dating until their junior summer. After ten years of long distance that included undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs, Emily and Jim got engaged!

Love Note:
Emily and Jim share a love of Yosemite, especially when blanketed in snow, so it was a natural choice for them to have their wedding at the famed Yosemite hotel.

Love Story:
Summer and Justin was officially married earlier in the year, and this celebration was an opportunity for their family to come and celebrate with them all the way from China. It was important to them to have a venue where they could have an entire weekend to entertain their family and show them the beauty of California. To make the weekend even more joyous, they also were able to announce that they were having a baby girl!

Love Note:
The wedding weekend started with a dinner onsite, and the wedding later took place in the lush gardens and lawn at the Chateau Noel on the property.

Love Story:
Shantel remembers the first time she saw Bradley in high school, but they didn’t date until a few years later when they were set up on a blind date by Bradley’s older brother.

Love Note:
Shantel and Bradley had a chance to see the reception space before all the guests entered, and the couple was amazed at how perfectly and beautifully everything had turned out! It was their dream come true!
