Love Story from the bride:
Brian and I met in college at Arizona State University and dated for about ten years prior to getting engaged! We were so grateful to have our closest friends and family there on such a special day for us.

Love Note from the bride:
We relocated to Chicago from Scottsdale just after we got engaged. We knew we wanted a west coast wedding and fell in love with Ponte Winery. We knew that had to be the location even though we’d be planning from Chicago! I’m a graphic designer, so designing and printing our invitations and wedding day stationery was a rewarding challenge.

Love story from the bride:
We met in the beginning of 2012. I was hired as the administrative assistant in an office of about 10 people. Jason was hired a month later as a construction manager. We were strictly work friends for about 2 years. From day one I always felt comfortable around Jason. There was something about him that made me feel I could be myself. A couple times over the years I even went to him for advice on guys I dated, and in turn would give him advice on girls he dated. We always talked about hanging outside of work, but it never happened. That is until the end of 2013. We finally made plans to hang out as friends outside of work. We’ve been together since.

Proposal story from the bride:
The date was December 23rd, 2015, and I was working from home for the day. I had my aunt and two cousins flying in from New Jersey for the holidays, so I was staying in SD with my family, and Jason was headed to Lompoc the next day to spend Christmas with his parents. In the morning, as I was working away, Jason said he had to run to the grocery store real quick. When he got back he knocked on the front door, and in my pj’s, I opened the door to a beautiful bouquet of  red roses and a warm chai tea latte (two of my favorite things). Jason will do sweet things like this for me every couple of months, so I didn’t think twice, that a proposal would follow later that day.
We were supposed to meet my family at Dukes in La Jolla for lunch, but I kept changing plans due to my work schedule. Jason and I ended up grabbing lunch at our favorite lunch spot close to our house, and then headed home to open presents just the two of us. I went to wash my car first, only to find all the car washes closed because it was sprinkling outside. When I got home, Jason had a fire going in our fireplace. We opened presents in front of the Christmas tree, and I was overwhelmed by how generous Jason had been with me. As I got up to give him a hug, he reached around the Christmas tree, and said: “I think I have one more present for you.” He opened the box and got down on one knee, and the rest is history!
Later that night, my twin sister and parents had coordinated with Jason and threw us a surprise engagement party. We toasted to our engagement and let the celebrations begin.

Love Story:
Carlos and Paloma first met at a pub crawl, so Carlos decided to propose on the beach right outside the bar where their initial meeting had been. For the proposal, he wrote a note that said “Will you marry me?” followed by check mark boxes for “yes” and “no.” The note was given to Paloma as they stood in a heart of rose petals. Once Paloma said yes, they went to the bar to celebrate with friends and family that were waiting for them!

Love Note:
Carlos and Paloma had a running joke where Paloma would ask, “How much do you love me?” On their wedding day, Carlos sent flowers to the bridal suite every hour with a note that said “How much?” on the front and a card, causing everyone in the room to tear up.
