Your wedding day is that euphoric moment in time when the tangible communes with the ethereal, when the ephemeral and the eternal become inextricably intertwined. To capture the breadth and depth of such a momentous occasion necessitates listening to, observing, and channeling the essences of your love, your language, and your legacy. And that’s precisely what Arpit focuses on.
Your wedding day is about two people: you. Just like no two couples are alike, no two weddings are alike. From the smallest detail to the widest of scenes, Arpit captures every image keeping your love story at the center of it all.
Every couple has their own style and aesthetic. So whether you’re getting married on a gorgeous lawn outdoors, on the 70th floor of a building downtown, or even in a Ferrari museum, Arpit creates photographs that capture your style perfectly.
Culture is more than just customs and traditions. They are part of every family’s legacy. So whether it’s a church wedding or a multi-day Indian wedding, Arpit’s goal is to capture every nuance that will be passed on through the generations.
Arpit was born and raised in Mumbai, India. Growing up, he had the opportunity to travel around the country, as well as parts of Southeast Asia, Australia, and the U.S. (where he would eventually relocate in 1998.) In the eighth grade, when his science class took a field trip to hear from scientists returning from Antarctica, Arpit found himself fascinated by a singular image: the aurora australis. Little did he know that nearly a decade later, he would find a passion for photography and pursue it as a career.
In 2008, Arpit started out as an assistant to a local photographer. By the end of the following year, he had already traveled as far as Singapore to capture his second destination wedding. Over the years, he has developed and honed his own unique style own unique style–hyperrealism–a visual aesthetic where the images produced are a blend of photorealistic paintings and editorial photography. He takes an artisanal approach to his work, capturing the intricately beautiful dance between the couple, the space they occupy, and the light that showers them.
